Squad Update | No new injury worries for Munster ahead of Northampton contest

Munster could only claim a losing bonus point in their round one clash with Toulouse in Thomond Park last Sunday.

The Munster squad started preparations at the HPC on Tuesday ahead of Sunday’s Champions Cup Pool B round two game away to Northampton at Franklin’s Gardens (1pm – live on BT Sport, BeIN Sports, SuperSports & FloRugby).

On the injury front, there are no new concerns to report following Sunday’s clash against Toulouse.

There is good news for Stephen Archer (ankle) and Jack O’Sullivan (knee) as they are increasing their training volumes this week.

Continuing to rehab:  Tom Ahern (shoulder), RG Snyman (knee), Fineen Wycherley (shoulder), Paddy Kelly (head), Jack Daly (knee), Andrew Conway (knee), Keynan Knox (knee), Simon Zebo (knee).

Eight Munster players lined out for their clubs in the AIL at the weekend despite the majority of games getting postponed due to the bad weather.

In Division 1A, Fionn Gibbons, Dan Goggin, Chris Moore, Eoin O’Connor and Conor Phillips helped Young Munster to a victory over Terenure College.

Liam Coombes and Cian Hurley were in action for Garryowen as they were beaten by Clontarf.

In Division 2A, Ruadhan Quinn lined out for Old Crescent in their win over Dolphin at Musgrave Park.

Munster’s next home game against Leinster on St Stephen’s Day will sell-out in the coming days with the final tickets available here. Tickets are available for the return clash against Northampton next month here.
