TEAM | Graham Shine makes five changes to Limerick Ladies side for Wicklow trip

The first eight remains unchanged from the win in Dunmore in January with captain Roisin Ambrose at midfield.

Graham Shine has named his Limerick side to take on Wicklow in the second round of the Lidl Ladies National Football League this Sunday in Baltinglass.

Shine has made five changs to the side that hammered Kilkenny in the opening round three weeks ago with all of them coming in the attacking unit.

Into the team come Clare O’Meara, Katie Heelan, Cathy Mee, Anna O’Dea and Karen O’Leary. O’Meara is named at midfield with Lauren Ryan moving to wing-forward. Andrea O’Sullivan also moves position after bagging a pair of goals in the opening round. The Ballylanders native is named at centre-forward with clubmate Cathy Mee starting at full after also scoring a pair against the Cats.

The first eight remains unchanged from the win in Dunmore in January with captain Roisin Ambrose at midfield.

After starting in the opening round in the half forward line, Ellie Woulfe, Laura Stack and Kate Kennedy drop to the bench. Amy Ryan is also named among the replacements after missing out on the opener.

Limerick will face a much tougher task this time around against a Wicklow side who will operate in the Intermediate championship later this year. They were comfortable 4-10 to 1-1 winners over Derry in their first round clash.

Throw in this Sunday is at 2pm in Baltinglass with the game available to watch on the Ladies Football Website.
