TEAM | Graham Shine names Limerick Ladies Football squad for championship opener

Limerick kick off their championship campaign this Sunday against the Ulster side.

The Limerick Ladies Footballers will have home advantage this Sunday when they welcome Antrim to Bruff at 2pm in the first round of the All-Ireland Junior Football Championship.

Manager Graham Shine has named his side for the clash with some notable returnees to championship action.

Alva Quaid comes into the side at full back with Sarah O’Sullivan moving into the corner. Niamh Ryan starts at centre back while Amy Ryan moves into full forward. Aine McGrath starts at wing back in her place.

Limerick will be seeking to bounce back after losing the league final to Offaly in April.

Roisin Ambrose captains the side from midfield and the Old Mill native “can’t wait to get going” ahead of Sunday’s game in Bruff.

The game will be streamed live by the LGFA and you can purchase below.
