Team News: Conor Murray returns to Ireland XV for England encounter

Andy Farrell has named his team for Ireland’s fifth and final game of this year’s Six Nations Championship against England.

Following a mixed bag of performances versus Scotland as well as injuries to James Ryan and Garry Ringrose, head coach Farrell has wrung the changes for this week’s game.

In the forward pack, Limerick’s David Kilcoyne comes into the frontrow while Josh Van der Flier and Jack Conan are brought in to start in the the backrow alongside CJ Stander.

Conor Murray is chosen at scrumhalf in place of Jamison Gibson Park and will partner experienced halfback partner Johnny Sexton.

Bundee Aki replaces the injured Garry Ringrose in centre, while Jacob Stockdale is preferred to the out-of-form James Low on the wing.

Ireland take on England at 16:45 this Saturday at the Aviva Stadium.
