TEAM | Unchanged line up as Limerick host Waterford in Munster U20 semi-final

Limerick welcome Waterford to the TUS Gaelic Grounds this evening.

Diarmuid Mullins has named an unchanged side for tonight’s Munster U20 semi final with Waterford which throws in at 7pm.

The game will be shown live on the TG4 player.

Mullins side booked a home semi-final last week with a comprehensive win over defending All-Ireland champions Cork.

That followed a last gasp win over Clare in round one where Cathal O’Neill hit 1-1 in the final minute to steal a one point victory.

Limerick will once again be without O’Neill with the Crecora Manister man playing a starring role for the seniors over the past two weekends.

Waterford are in a similar situation with Cathrach Daly.

Last year, Limerick beat Clare by thirteen points at the same stage to book a place with Cork in the final.

Eight players who featured in that game are named from the start this evening.

Limerick are seeking a second successive final berth but have yet to win the province since it was regraded to U20s in 2019.

Cork and Tipperary meet in the other semi-final tonight with Semple Stadium the venue.

The winners will meet in the decider next Wednesday evening.

Limerick host Waterford in the Munster U20 Hurling Championship semi final on Wednesday April 27 at the TUS Gaelic Grounds at 7pm.
