The game was postponed to the weekend with both sides out of the reckoning for this Sunday’s final.
A time, date and venue has been confirmed for Limerick’s refixture with Kerry in the Munster Hurling League. Austin Stack Park Tralee will host the game this Sunday at 1pm.
The game was originally fixed for Mick Neville Park but was switched to Tralee prior to its postponement which was confirmed on Monday afternoon.
The game will be streamed live by Munster GAA TV. Neither team can progress to the final with Cork and Tipperary meeting in the decider on the same afternoon.
Both Limerick and Kerry were beaten by Cork making this Sunday’s game a dead rubber.
Limerick led Cork in injury time in their opening game of 2023 but fell to late scores from Conor Lehane and Brian Hayes. On the day, John Kiely handed debuts to seven players with four named from the start.
Following Sunday’s game with Kerry, Limerick will be in action in the first round of the National Hurling League on February 5 against Cork in Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
