Time, Date and Venues confirmed for Newcastle West, Na Piarsaigh and Castlemahon’s Munster Football semi-finals

All three are one hour away from Munster club football finals ahead of their respective last four ties this weekend.

Three Limerick sides will be in Munster Club semi-final action this weekend with the fixtures confirmed for each. Newcastle West and Na Piarsaigh have Tipperary opposition while Castlemahon have home advantage against the Kerry junior champions.

In the Munster senior championship, Newcastle West will be up against the provincial favourites Clonmel Commercials. The Tipp side will have home advantage when they meet this Sunday in Semple Stadium at 1pm.

Clonmel were comfortable winners over Nemo Rangers in their Munster quarter final and beat Newcastle West in 2015 en route to claiming provincial honours.

The winners will face one of Eire Og Ennis or Kerins O’Rahilly’s in the final on December 11.

Na Piarsaigh will again head to Kilmallock as they host Tipperary champions Ballina this Saturday at 1pm in the Intermediate semi-final. The Caherdavin side were 2-10 to 1-5 winners over Roanmore in the same venue in the Munster quarter final.

The reward for the victor is a place in the final against either Kanturk or Rathmore.

Castlemahon will host Kerry kingpins Fossa in the Munster Junior semi-final this Saturday in Coolyroe. The Kerry champions are backboned by the Clifford brothers David and Paudie who both won All-Stars this year with the former winning the footballer of the year gong.

The West Limerick side beat Shamrocks of Waterford in the quarters but will have it all to do when the Kerry champions arrive in Coolyroe.

Kilmurry or Thurles Sarsfields will await in the final.
