As the Limerick club championships reach the knockout stages we review round 5 of the football action with Adare & Oola in the semi finals while Ballysteen v Newcastlewest and Fr Caseys v St Kierans make up the 1/4 finals. The intermediate football 1/4 final pairings are also confirmed and we look ahead to some mouthwatering ties.

Club hurling action is to the fore this weekend as round 5 of the group stages come to a head. There is not much possibility for movement in group 1 while you will need a panadol and a calculator for the permutations for group 2.

All that plus a round up of the underage action, the Peter Casey saga and the All Ireland Final as Dublin look to complete a historic drive for five while Kerry attempt to spoil the party.
