Treaty will be competing in the First Division after falling in the play-off semi-finals last month.
Ahead of next year’s SSE Airtricity League First Division season, Treaty United have announced a number of resignings as well as a couple of new signings.
Goalkeeper Jack Brady was the first player announced by the club on Thursday afternoon Ballina-Killaloe native joins the club following spells with Longford Town, Limerick FC and Shelbourne.
His announcement was followed by the resigning of Marc Ludden, who was named in the PFA Ireland Team of the Year as was Willie Armshaw who netted four times last year.
Last year’s captain Jack Lynch was the first player announced on Friday morning after he scored five goals and picked up three assists last season.
Matt Keane, Treaty’s record appearance maker in 2021, was the next to resign with Callum McNamara and Kieran ‘Red’ Hanlon following suit.
Stephen Christopher resigns after joining the club midway through last season. Lee Devitt was the secons new signing with the midfielder joining the club off the back of two seasons with Cobh Ramblers and one with Limerick FC.
Defensive duo Sean Guerins and Charlie Fleming will both be in the red and blue next signing after resigning on Saturday.
Joel Coustrain and Mark Walsh were the latest to join, brining Treaty’s current squad up to 13.
Treaty will be seeking to go one better in their sophomore year after losing out to eventual play-off winners UCD in the semi-finals last month.
