Treaty United have confirmed dates for two pre-season friendly matches and the Munster Senior Cup quarter-final against Ringmahon Rangers.
Treaty started pre-season training this week in preparation for the 2023 League of Ireland season and announced their first pre-season friendly will take place at Turners Cross where the first-team will take on newly promoted Premier Division side and Munster rivals Cork City. The game will take place on January 21st at 2pm.
The Limerick side will also take on high quality opposition in the second confirmed pre-season friendly as they face reigning Premier Division champions Shamrock Rovers a week later at 11am in Roadstone. Interestingly, Treaty’s Munster Senior Cup quarter-final is due to take place just three hours after the beginning of the Shamrock Rovers game. Treaty will travel to Ringmahon park to take on Munster Senior League side Ringmahon Rangers. Due to the clash, it will be interesting to see the approach to both ties with the latter being a competitive game.
In last season’s Munster Senior Cup, Treaty were eliminated at the semi-final stage against Cork City at the Markets Field. Previously, Treaty had defeated Waterford FC 2-0 at University of Limerick. Cobh Ramblers are the holders of the trophy.
