Treaty United host Bray Wanderers looking to get back to winning ways

The sides also met in March this season, playing out a 2-2 draw with goals from Mark Walsh and Thomas Considine for the hosts at the Markets Field.

Treaty United welcome Bray Wanderers to the Markets Field in the League of Ireland First Division at 7:45pm this Friday night, as they look to get back to winning ways after last week’s loss to Kerry FC.

The Shannonsiders sit in eighth place, ten points adrift of Friday’s opponents, who occupy the final playoff position.

Tommy Barrett’s men finally snapped a 14-game winless run that spanned over three months against Longford Town, but followed it up with a disappointing loss to the Kingdom.

Wanderers have won seven of their last 11 outings, defeating United 2-1 as part of that run.

Goals from Kieran Cruise and Peter Grogan had the Wicklow outfit 2-0 up at half-time that day, only for Leon Kirrane to bag his first senior goal in the last 20 minutes to give his side some hope.

The sides also met in March this season, playing out a 2-2 draw with goals from Mark Walsh and Thomas Considine for the hosts at the Markets Field.

Last season, they faced off four times, recording a win each and two draws.

The game will be streamed live on LOITV. Individual match passes can be purchased for €5 or viewers can purchase a Half Season pass which will give them access to all games across the League of Ireland.
