Treaty United will face either Cobh Wanderers or Ringmahon Rangers in the Munster Senior Cup quarter-final. Treaty have been drawn away but will have to wait a further fortnight to find out which Munster Senior League side they will face. The ties will be played on the week ending January 29th.
The holders of the competition are League of Ireland First Division side Cobh Ramblers who surprised neighbours Cork City in the 2022 decider at Turners Cross with a 0-1 victory thanks to a James O’Leary strike. Treaty were beaten by Cork City at the Markets Field in the semi-final. The Munster Senior Cup last resided in Limerick in 2015 when Limerick FC defeated Avondale 1-0 in Clonreask , Askeaton.
The match will provide many supporters with their first opportunity to see the likes of new signings Conor Barry, Ryan Connolly and Anthony O’Donnell in competitive action.
