Treaty United pair named on the First Division Team of the Week after third successive win

Limerick native Ronan Coughlan, who scored a hat trick against Treaty for Waterford FC last month, is also named on the team.

Treaty United duo Lee Devitt and Marc Ludden have been named in the SSE Airtricity First Division Team of the Week after their win over Athlone Town.

Trailing against the Westmeath side last Friday, Treaty hit back with a pair of goals late on from Devitt and Ludden to continue their winning streak in the first division.

Devitt equalised for Tommy Barrett’s men before Ludden completed the comeback from the bench with ten minutes to play in the Markets Field.

Limerick native Ronan Coughlan, who scored a hat trick against Treaty for Waterford FC last month, is also named on the team. Another Limerick native Killian Brouder of Galway United is named at centre back with the Tribesmen continuing their march to the title with a 12th successive win.

The victory moves Treaty into sixth place in the First Division where they are just one point outside the play-off places, trailing Bray Wanderers in fifth. They are also just one win behind Athlone Town following the victory.

Tommy Barrett’s men are away to Longford Town this Saturday evening.
