Treaty United Senior Women Fixtures Announced

The Airtricity Women’s National League 2021 fixtures have been announced this evening. The season begins on March 27th with a mid-season break taking place in June. Furthermore, the Women’s FAI Senior Cup Final will take place on the week ending November 20th.

Treaty will begin their second campaign in the league with an away tie against Bohemians on March 27th. There has been a change of manager at the club since the end of last season with Dave Rooney departing and Niall Connolly replacing him. Connolly was part of Rooney’s backroom team last season.

Connolly will be joined on the coaching staff by Sean Russell, Marie Curtin, John-Paul Buckley and Aoife Gibbons. In 2020, Treaty had a good record against Bohemians, winning both games against the Dublin outfit and finishing above them in the final league standings.

The club will begin with two away games as they travel to face Athlone Town on April 3rd in Lissywoolen. Their first home game at Jackman Park will see Connolly’s outfit face Wexford two weeks later on April 18th.

The Candystripes returned to pre-season training this week at the University of Limerick in preparation for the big kick-off which is 6 weeks away. The U-17 fixture list will be released at a later date.

Below is the club’s full fixture list for the upcoming season.
