Treaty United travel to Bray with playoff hopes hanging by a thread

Following last week’s loss, Tommy Barrett’s men are eight points off fifth placed Wexford, with just six games left to play.

Treaty United travel to seventh place Bray Wanderers on Friday evening, with kick-off at 7:45pm in the League of Ireland First Division.

The Shannonsiders are without a win in their last three games, and have suffered demoralising defeats at the hands of Cobh Ramblers and Wexford.

Bray are just one point ahead of the Limerick outfit, and the pair have faced each other three times this season, each winning once and drawing the other.

The hosts have picked up just one win in their last eight games, and Treaty will come into the tie with hope they can leapfrog their opponents.

While goals have been hard to come by in recent games, Success Edogun bagged a brace a fortnight ago, and has looked a threat in his last two outings.

The forward may be Barrett’s main goal threat, with his side desperate for points at this stage of the season.
