Tommy Barrett’s side have been in improved form of late, winning two of their last three games and drawing the other. It means the Shannonsiders have been able to surge up to sixth place in the table, and are now just three points off the playoff places.

Cork are struggling ahead of the cup tie, sitting in ninth place in the Premier Division, propped up by UCD.

Treaty went deep in the Cup last year, making it all the way to the semi-final stage, before losing to eventual winners Derry, who had knocked Cork out in an earlier round.
