Tuohy Cup Draw Announced

The draw for the first round of the Touhy Cup was made on Thursday night with four games taking place in this round. All games will take place at Jackman Park but no date has been set for the fixtures as of yet.

The biggest tie of the round sees title rivals Pike Rovers and Ballynanty Rovers face off. The clubs have already met in the league this season with a late Arron Nunan goal giving Ballynanty a 2-3 away victory.

Ballynanty were scheduled to face Fairview Rangers in last year’s final before the postponment of the competition due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Therefore, Pike remain current holders of the trophy following their victory over Janesboro in 2019.

Coonagh United face free-scoring Aisling Annacotty who defeated Keith Doran’s side 0-5 in the league encounter. However, Coonagh have made a solid start to the campaign and have two wins and a draw in six encounters.

Prospect Priory face Mungret Regional while Nenagh AFC face Geraldines.
