The second game will be of huge interest to Limerick with the winner moving on to play the Shannonsiders in the All-Ireland semi-final
The TUS Gaelic Grounds has been confirmed as the venue for this weekend’s All-Ireland senior hurling quarter-final double header.
Clare face Dublin in the first game at 4pm with the clash of Tipperary and Galway throwing in at 6.15pm on the Ennis Road. Both games will be televised on RTÉ.
The second game will be of huge interest to Limerick with the winner moving on to play the Shannonsiders in the All-Ireland semi-final in Croke Park on July 8.
Limerick have met Galway in the last four twice since 2020, winning on both occasions, including last year’s meeting. The Shannonsiders have met Tipperary already this year, playing out a 0-25 apiece draw in the third round of the Munster championship.
On the other side of the draw, Clare return to the Gaelic Grounds for the third time this year. Brian Lohan’s men ended Limerick’s 17-match unbeaten run at the bonus in the round robin but were beaten in the provincial final a week ago.
The winner of that game will play Kilkenny on Sunday July 9 in Croke Park.
