UL Bohemians face Railway Union in Cup Semi Final Replay

UL Bohs women side take on Railway Union in the All Ireland Cup semi final replay this afternoon at 3pm at the 4g pitch at UL

The Robins who have already won the Munster Senior Cup and the All-Ireland League title will be looking to take a step towards completing a treble.

The two have met three times this year. Both league games were hard fought with Bohs wining away on a 15-12 scoreline and losing at home by eight points to six.

The third meeting which was the first instalment of the semi final was 10-10 draw. Bohs thought they would advance to the final having scored the first try but Railway successfully appealed the decision seeing as how the rule applied only to playoff games in the All Ireland League and not in the cup.

Earlier this week we caught up with UL Bohs coach Mike Storey to chat in general about the women’s game in Ireland and his thoughts on the weekend.

You can listen to the interview in full by clicking on the soundcloud link below.

All in all, it makes for a fascinating encounter out in UL today and we wish UL Bohemians players and management the very best of luck.
