University of Limerick to host International Taekwondo Coaching Conference

From Friday 28th through to June 30th, the 1st International Coaching Conference of the International Taekwon-Do Federation will take place at the University of Limerick.

The Conference (which is the first of its kind) will have 175 registered instructors attending from around the world from as far as Uruguay, Malaysia, Australia the US and Europe.

The event is being hosted by the Irish Taekwon-Do Association, who have held their annual national championships at the arena over the past decade and more.

Last year the event attracted 800 competitors.

Leading the course will be Grand Master Willem Jacob Bos, 9th-degree black belt, with keynote speakers from the UL academic staff, the wider sporting community and the presenters of the icoachkids conference which took place last week.
