Van Graan hoping to reverse the tide from early season Glasgow loss

Munster head into this weekend’s crucial Pro14 fixture with Glasgow Warriors looking to avenge the defeat they suffered against the Scottish side earlier in the season.

Johann van Graan’s side were beaten 25-10 on that evening in September and the Munster Head Coach is expecting a tough fixture again at Thomond Park.

“We did very well in the second half but didn’t convert our opportunities into points and they were better on the day a few weeks ago. They are a quality side and we are looking forward to playing them on Saturday.”

Van Graan also spoke about Munster’s injury woes from last weekend’s victory over Gloucester. The South African said that there are opportunities ‘for the next man to stand up’ on the back of the serious injuries to Dan Goggin, Rhys Marshall and Tommy O’Donnell.
