WATCH: Van Graan on the need for Munster to be more clinical

Last Saturday’s Champions Cup win over Gloucester put Munster top of Pool 2 but Head Coach Johann van Graan still feels his side have plenty to work on ahead of this week’s return to Pr014 action.

Van Graan’s side welcome Glasgow Warriors to Thomond Park this Saturday and he highlighted the need to improve the team’s discipline and a more clinical edge to their game.

“The thing that we thought we could have done better, especially in the first 30 minutes, was game discipline. Again, the frustration from our side as a group – the last 14 minutes we conceded a few penalties.

“If you concede, it doesn’t matter how many guys you have on the pitch you stay in your ’22. All credit to Gloucester as well. They are a team that never give up. Looking back at it, the good thing is that we didn’t give them any points from the game.”
