WATCH: 'Again it just shows that these lads are learning'-Lee commends football team

The Limerick footballers made it four wins from four in the Allianz National Football League when they beat Wicklow 5-10 to 1-14 in Mick Neville Park earlier today.

That win was Limerick’s seventh consecutive in 2020 as they moved clear at the top of the Division 4 table.

A win over Antrim in their next game will secure promotion with two games to spare but Billy Lee isn’t getting ahead of himself as he takes each game at it’s full value.

Speaking after the game today, Lee said there is still work to be done.

“I suppose chances opened up for us and we took them. We had two more in the second half and we went for the juggular when we should have went for a point and I don’t mind but you’re not going to score seven goals in a game.”
