WATCH: Antóin Power praises “hard working and honest” minors ahead of Munster final

After finishing the Munster championship with three wins from four, minor manager Antoin Power’s side can add a Munster championship to their resumé this Sunday against Tipperary in Semple Stadium. Limerick’s standout performance came against Cork in Cork where Limerick dominated from start to finish, winning out comfertably in the end.

“We really went at it below in Pairc ui Chaoimh. But happy with the Tipperary and Clare games as well.”

The Cork game was followed by a sub-standard loss to Waterford in the Gaelic Grounds and Power is hoping his side can learn from that defeat. In his fourth year with this group of players, Power has nothing but praise for his troops who have played an excellent brand of hurling so far this Summer.

“In fairness they are a great group, great honest and hard-working. Those three attributes go a long way.”

This is our fourth year with them and they’ve improved and developed year on year which is great.”
