WATCH: Arnold on an injury hit year and making the most of his opportunities

2019 has been an extremely frustrating one for Munster centre Sammy Arnold. Having recovered from a broken leg injury, Arnold picked up a ‘niggle’ in pre-season and has seen his playing time limited since.

However, Arnold is not letting things get to him and is ready to take his chance if he gets the nod against Leinster on Saturday.

“The next few weeks are massive. This is the time that you have to be hitting form and playing well if you want to get into the 23.

“For me, as an individual, it’s a very exciting couple of weeks and if I get the opportunity at the weekend it’s up to me to take it.”

Arnold also spoke about Munster’s selection of youth and experience against Connacht and working with Stephen Larkham.
