Munster centre Sammy Arnold spoke this week about how close the Pro14 is to the Champions Cup from an intensity point of view.
Arnold expects this weekend’s clash with Glasgow Warriors to reach the same heights as Munster’s last game with Gloucester and believes that the Pro14 is improving all the time.
“In terms of the game at the weekend and coming up against Glasgow it will be a fairly similar intensity. I think the league has become incredibly competitive. You look how tight our conference is at the moment.
“I think the Premiership gets a lot of credit. People think it’s the most competitive league in Europe but I think if you look at the results the Pro14 teams have in Europe, we are definitely up there as one of the most competitive leagues.
