Munster will kick off their run of Interpro games when they make to trip up to the Sportsgrounds to face Connacht on Saturday evening in the Guinness Pro 14.
Saturday will be the first of three inter-provincial games ahead for Johann van Graan’s side who will welcome Leinster to Thomond Park in two weeks time followed by an away trip to Ulster the week after.
Speaking to the media this week, Munster lock Billy Holland is looking forward to their derby matches over the festive period while commenting on the fact that these games should provide a ‘shop window’ for Ireland Head Coach Andy Farrell also:
“Interpros can have a different intensity to them, a lot more like European games.
“Three Interpros in over three weeks at Christmas, I think Andy Farrell will get a good sense of where guys are at.”
