WATCH: Billy Lee on taking positives from league into championship

Limerick football manager Billy Lee wants his side to take the experience gained from a tough division 4 league campaign into the Munster Championship opener with Clare. Limerick only picked up a solitary win in the League, but with the huge overhaul of players, Lee knows that the experience will prove crucial to this set of players as they head into the Munster championship.

“A lot of lads are learning. There’s a lot of lads that didn’t play inter-county underage so it’s a complete learning process so when you see positive stuff you work on it. You then challenge lads to improve on areas where you see we are not so good on.

“The lads have been open to that and are constantly trying to find their feet at that and continuing them to challenge themselves.”
