WATCH: Billy Lee reflects on 'smash and grab' win over Carlow

Earlier today Limerick made it three wins from three in the Allianz National Football League Division 4 with a last gasp 1-7 to 0-9 win over Carlow.

Carlow had an early 0-4 to 0-0 lead at Newatch Cullen Park before Limerick levelled as the half came to an end.

Carlow did lead by three with time running out before a Bob Childs goal brought the sides level.

Captain Iain Corbett was on hand to knock a late penalty over the bar to give Limerick a valuable win with Limerick manager Billy Lee acknowledging that the game could have went either way.

“A game of twists and turns and I don’t think either side deserved to lose today.”

“I think our performance deserved something out of that game. If I was on the other side of this result I’d be gutted.”
