Munster head into today’s Pro14 tie with Connacht knowing that a win may not be enough to earn a home semi final in this season’s playoffs.
That makes the derby with Connacht even more important and it’s a game that flanker Chris Cloete is very much looking forward to.
The South African has enjoyed the Interpro’s since he arrived at Munster two years ago and is expecting a tough test against Andy Friend’s side.
“The Interpro’s are very close games at the end of the day. They have beaten Ulster home and away.
“Their set piece has been really good in the past couple of games and it’s really going to be a tough game but Thomond Park is a special place to play.
“We haven’t lost there since December 2017 and I think this is going to be a really good game.”
