Munster welcome Benetton to Thomond Park this Saturday at 3pm in the Guinness Pro 14 quarter-final.
This represents Munster’s last chance at silverware this season and for Chris Farrell, he hopes the game will provide a platform for Munster to be more expansive in attack.
“Maybe we shouldn’t be as proactive with our kicking game as we have been. Be nice to have a crack at a team with ball in hand.”
The return of Joey Carbery and Keith Earls should help Munster’s attacking play which was so predictable in the Champions Cup semi-final against Saracens.
The pair are arguably Munster’s most important backline players and should they return straight into the starting XV, Munster will be in a much stronger position to attack from all over the field.
“Those guys are massive and when you put them back into the side then we can be very competitive at all levels.”
