WATCH: Chris Farrell on excitement ahead of Edinburgh and the 16th man

Munster head to Edinburgh this Saturday for the quarter finals of the European Champions Cup

The last two seasons have seen Munster fall at the last four stage and Johann van Graan will be desperate to improve that this time around.

For Chris Farrell, Edinburgh provides an opportunity to prove himself, having missed the end of last seasons competition, picking up a cruciate ligament injury in the 2018 Six Nations.

He is bristling with excitement ahead of the game.

“I was listening to Johann and looking at a few clips of us at the weekend and I was getting ramped up and ready to play already”.

Munster’s support has been unwavering over the past few decades and Farrell has acknowledged his appreciation for the Red Army, as he is sure they will play their part this Saturday.

“It’s unbelievable, the amount of red that stayed and watched us walk around the field, supported us and traveled over to London and they will do the same this week I’m sure”.
