WATCH: Clarke Looking Forward to Munster Semi-Final

Aisling Annacotty contest the semi-final of the Munster Junior Cup on Sunday afternoon when they face Waterford Crystal at Jackman Park (3pm). It will be Annacotty’s second appearance in a major semi-final in two years having lost out to Sheriff YC in the FAI Junior Cup in controversial fashion.

The team continued preparations for the game on Tuesday evening and we caught up with striker Shane Clarke to preview the game. Clarke has won the Munster Junior with Janesboro in 2012 and also lost to Pike in the decider in 2018 in a penalty shoot-out.

The former Limerick FC striker has been happy with how the squad have prepared for the game:

“Preparations have been great. We have had a few friendlies and we have came out of them really well. We have had some really good training sessions since we started back there on the 16th of June. The squad is gelling together and getting stronger each week.”
