WATCH: Conor Oliver “delighted to be back” as Munster power past Connacht

The returning Conor Oliver enjoyed a victorious return to action as Munster claimed a 33-13 win over Connacht in their Guinness Pro14 interpro at Thomond Park this evening.

Oliver has not played this season having suffered a preseason shoulder injury that required surgery and has kept him out until tonight. The Skerries native played the full 80 minutes on his return and claimed the man of the match award for his efforts.

He gave his post match thoughts on his return to TG4’s Marcus Horan.

The win sees Munster take full advantage of the Cheetahs slip up in Italy as they suffered a 27-21 defeat in Treviso. Johann van Graan’s side now sit in second place in Conference A and well in control of their playoff destiny.
