Ahead of the Limerick minor hurlers Munster Championship clash with Cork, Darragh Droog says that success in the competition would be a bonus but the main goal is to bring players through to senior.
Limerick contested four consecutive minor Munster finals between 2013 and 2016 winning two. The current Limerick side is littered with players from them minor teams and Droog is hoping to continue developing talent in the county.
“Certainly, with my full Academy hat on, our job is to create successful players for the Senior team in time. Obviously success on the way up is ideal.”
