The inaugural GAA Minor Star Awards that will take place in Croke Park on October 7th.

Watch below as Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh observes Jarlath Daly as he scuplts the trophies for the Electric Ireland GAA Minor Awards.

The Electric Ireland GAA Minor Star Football Team of the Year features players from Kerry, Derry, Dublin and Cavan, the four semi-finalists from this year’s Championship.

All-Ireland winners Galway and beaten finalists Cork provide 11 of the 15 Minor Star Awards Hurling Team of the Year for 2017.

Galway, with six, have one more representative than the Rebels, while Kilkenny, Dublin and Clare also feature in the side.

The teams were selected by a panel of GAA greats from nominees that included the Electric Ireland Man of the Match and Player of the Week winners throughout the season.
