Chris Farrell knows all about playing Racing 92 from his time with Grenoble in the Top 14.
In his time with the French club, Farrell enjoyed a great relationship with a former Munster player and Limerick native Mike Prendergast who was coaching there at the time.
Prendergast has since moved on and is currently on the staff of the Parisian club that Munster play today.
Farrell says that he and Prendergast remain in contact and enjoy a great relationship.
“I get on really well with him. He was great for us in Grenoble with taking our backs and our attack to a really good level.
“Me and him would have been very close. Would have worked really close and he would have improved me as a player a lot.
“I feel awful gratitude to him. I do speak with him. Haven’t spoken to him since the last time we played them in Thomond Park.
“But, over the last couple of years I would have been in touch with him a lot and kept an eye on how he is going. I have a really good relationship with him.”
Farrell also spoke about the importance of enjoying big European games. Click below to see the video.
