WATCH: Fineen Wycherley on dealing with pressure, leaders and Ospreys threat

It has been an excellent start to the season for Cork forward Fineen Wycherley who has showcased his ability for the Province scoring his first try and making his Champions Cup debut.

At only 21 years of age, Wycherley has experienced his fair share of pressure already in his young career, yet is taking it in his stride.

“When you’re young and you get a chance, all you want to do is impress. That comes with pressure but excitement as well. You want to show well but at the same time you’ve got to relax and enjoy it as well.”

Having made his own mark in the team, Wycherley has commented on the guidance he received from his more established teammates.

With the likes of Peter O’Mahony, CJ Stander, Conor Murray and Billy Holland in the side, the youngster is learning from the best.

“They can show us the route but when we slot in it’s not a big deal because those fellas are still leading us.”
