Struggling Premiership Rugby side Northampton Saints recently appointed former Ireland backs coach Alan Gaffney as interim head coach until the end of the season.
The Australian will act as a technical coaching consultant, following the departure of director of rugby Jim Mallinder.
The former Munster boss is confident that he can turn things around for the Saints who currently sit in 10th position in the table.
“The players are very positive. We’re just hoping we can transform that into a performance at the weekend.”
