One cannot argue that the Limerick county champions were not tested by Ballygunner yesterday but true to form and in keeping with the quality contained throughout the side, Na Piarsaigh proved they had both the mental strength and skill to respond when necessary.
Despite trailing by a point at the break, Na Piarsaigh powered away in the closing minutes and will now look forward to an All-Ireland semi final next February.
