WATCH: Garryspillane’s James Ryan on victory over South Liberties & preserving senior status

Following the close win over South Liberties, Garryspillane’s James Ryan spoke about preserving senior status and the one-point victory.

The full time scoreline was 2-21 to 1-23 and Ryan spoke of the relief of overturning their fortunes from last week’s result.

“A lot of us felt we didn’t play well last week and things didn’t go our way. We lost the momentum, so it was great to get back.”

On retaining senior status, Ryan said that the team is ‘delighted’.

“We’ve a young team coming and we’re delighted that we’re senior for another year.”
