WATCH: Geraldines player/coach Tier says “Sunday can’t come quick enough”

Geraldines AFC compete in the Munster Junior Cup semi-final on Sunday when they take on FAI Junior Cup finalists St. Michaels at the Markets Field (2pm).

The Markets Field is a popular venue as it is situated at the top of Garryowen and just metres from Geraldines headquarters.

The club’s player/coach Bobby Tier will play a vital role if the club are to emerge victorious and reach their first Munster Junior Cup final in five years. The former Limerick FC midfielder knows how tough the challenge will be and is under no illusions.

“They are one of the top sides if not thee top side in Ireland at the moment. They have a great squad littered with junior internationals. Our lads know we are up against it but they are really looking forward to it and Sunday can’t come quick enough.”
