WATCH: Grehan “We asked the boys to implement a game plan Tommy left”

Limerick caretaker manager John Grehan was very happy with the way his young side played during Friday’s 4-1 victory over Wexford FC. Goals from Shane Tracy, Karl O’Sullivan, Adam Foley and Lee Devitt set Limerick on their way for a big victory.

Grehan was standing in for the absent Tommy Barrett who was attending a family wedding. Grehan said that the team executed Barrett’s game plan perfectly.

Yeah I am very happy. We asked the boys to go out based on a game plan Tommy had left us.

He was indisposed tonight for a pre-arranged family wedding. He gave us all the information that he wanted to be put out on the pitch and the boys executed the plan.
