WATCH: Haley says that Munster must concentrate on themselves

New Munster signing Mike Haley enjoyed his Champions Cup debut against Exeter Chiefs last weekend and is looking forward to his home debut in the competition on Saturday.

Munster welcome old foes Gloucester to Thomond Park and Haley knows more than anyone what to expect from their biggest, Danny Cipriani, who is a former teammate of his.

The two played together at Sale Sharks for several years and Haley thinks that since Cipriani signed in the off-season, Gloucester have become a serious threat.

“They are a very good side. Everybody knows how good he can be. I know especially having played with him for a number of years. He is a very good player and they are playing very well. Credit to them.”

Although acknowledging Gloucester’s threat, Haley married that by saying that all Munster can really do is focus on themselves and that Munster are a team that traditionally steps up to the mark in European games.
