WATCH: Hannon back in contention as John Kiely issues squad update

Limerick Senior Hurling Manager John Kiely confirmed that Declan Hannon suffered from a stomach bug prior to the Cork game but is back in contention for Waterford at the weekend.

Kiely confirmed that Hannon and other members of the panel were affected by the bug early in the week prior to the Pairc Ui Chaoimh classic.

“Declan is fine – Declan was sick. We had an issue last week with a tummy bug in the camp. A number of players and management and backroom team had it.

“It was just one of those things and what do you do – we had to cope with it and get on with it and that’s what the players did. Declan is training tonight and we have 36 fit players tonight.”
