There was nothing to separate Limerick and Tipperary in the first round of the National Hurling League on Saturday evening.
The game finished at 0-20 apiece with neither side really firing on all cylinders in their first game of the season.
Limerick started the brighter leading 0-7 to 0-5 at the first water break.
But a powerful second quarter saw Tipp reestablish the lead with Limerick levelling to leave it 0-12 all at the half.
The visitors did open up a five point lead midway through the second half but a fine finish from Limerick saw them leave with a share of the spoils.
