WATCH: Highlights as Limerick power past Clare in U21 Munster Championship

Limerick have secured passage to the Munster U21 championship semi finals after a comprehensive 3-18 to 0-13 win over Clare in Ennis this evening courtesy of a powerful second half performance.

The visitors were guilty of missing some clear goal chances in the opening half but still led by 0-10 to 0-08 at the break. However, Limerick sharpened their shooting in the second period to run out impressive and deserved 14 point winners.

Darren O’Connell was given a straight red only two minutes into the second half and Limerick would kick on to take full advantage courtesy of goals from Seamus Flanagan, Conor Boylan and substitute Mark O’Dwyer.

Next up for Pat Donnelly’s side is Tipperary in the Munster Semi Final.
