WATCH: Highlights as Munster enjoy 7 try rout of Kings

It wasn’t the greatest spectacle you will ever see but Munster move seven points clear of Glasgow at the top of Conference A of the Pro14 with the Scottish side facing a tough trip to Cardiff tomorrow evening.

Despite being heavy favourites Munster laboured in the opening half despite playing with the aid of a strong wind. Tries from Neil Cronin and Andrew Conway with Rory Scannell adding a conversion made it 12-0 at the break.

There was however an injury scare as Chris Farrell departed with a knock to his knee. Munster coach Jerry Flannery confirmed that the change was precautionary which will come as a huge relief to Johann van Grann and Joe Schmidt.

Italian referee Andrea Piardi then showed a yellow card to Kings’ Ruaan Lerm for the clear out on Neil Cronin.

Munster ran riot in the second half running in five tries to complete a 43-0 rout of the opposition.
