WATCH: Highlights as Munster prepare for Pro14 with big win over Connacht

Munster’s preseason came to a close with a comprehensive 40-12 win over Connacht in Thomond Park on Saturday.

Rory Scannell opened the scoring with a try early on with Rhys Marshall adding a second.

Jack Carty got his sides first score of the game to reduce the deficit to 12-5.

Gavin Coombes and James Cronin dotted down for Munster in response with Ben Healy adding a pair of conversions to leave it at 26 to 0-5 at the half.

Finlay Bealham got the first score of the second half for Connacht.

Niall Scannell replied with Munster’s fifth before Liam Coombes added another to push Munster 38-12 ahead with JJ Hanrahan rounding off the scoring.
