Ireland recoded a pulsating win over rivals Wales at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday to keep their Grand Slam bid on track.
In a game where Joe Schmidt’s side certainly didn’t have it all their own way, Wales had narrowed the gap to just three points with two minutes remaining before a Jacob Stockdale intercept try extended the gap to ten points thus denying the visitors a bonus point.
The win tees up the Scotland game in two weeks time with Ireland looking to set up a St Patricks Day decider in Twickenham.
